Hank and Sophie Tittle passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2016, due to a motorcycle accident.
Hank moved to Fresno, CA during his early childhood. Hank grew up playing sports, but he especially loved baseball, something he would pass onto his son. Hank and Sophie Tittle passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2016, due to a motorcycle accident.
Hank moved to Fresno, CA during his early childhood. Hank grew up playing sports, but he especially loved baseball, something he would pass onto his son. Hank graduated from Clovis West High School in 1983. Sophie was born in Fresno, CA on December 1, 1963. Sophie was born and raised in Fresno, CA. She grew up in a house full of four brothers and three sisters and eventually graduated from Central High School in 1981. Hank was born in Kansas City, MO, on April 30, 1965. Hank and Sophie met working together at Gottschalks in the warehouse. Sophie went onto work for the Internal Revenue Service as an appeals officer. Hank became a truck driver for a few companies including OnTrac, and recently was a fleet manager for Safety Kleen. Hank and Sophie were married on June 7, 1986. Two years later, they welcomed their daughter, Holli, and four years after that, they welcomed their son Michael. Sophie and Hank enjoyed spending time with family and friends, riding their motorcycle and camping in Pismo. They especially loved watching their son play baseball. They were fortunate enough to travel to Hawaii, Utah, and Canada, to support Michael throughout his baseball career. Hank and Sophie also took pride in their daughter, who is a college graduate and a highly motivated and driven individual. Hank and Sophie always believed in their children and were extremely proud of all their accomplishments. The two were inseparable and they touched lives everywhere they went. Their love for each other was something that most people could only dream of. Hank and Sophie were a true inspiration to many family and friends as great friends and loving family members. They made everyone feel welcome and were always seen smiling and enjoying their lives. Hank and Sophie's hearts and souls were full of love and joy as they passed on together doing what they loved. Hank was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Tittle Sr.; and brother, Ron Tittle.
Hank is survived by his daughter, Holli Tittle; son, Michael Tittle; mother, Georgia Phillips; dad, John Phillips; his sisters, Rene Wood, and Cheryl Thomas; and brother, Johnny Phillips.Sophie was preceded in death by her mother, Rita Amaro; and brothers, Mike Amaro, and Bob Amaro.
She is survived by her daughter, Holli Tittle; son, Michael Tittle; father, Joseph Amaro; brother, Joe Amaro; brother, David Amaro; sister, Rose Jenkins; sister, Marianne "Marian" George; and sister, Eva De La Cerda.
Visitation will be held at Whitehurst Sullivan Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Sunday, October 16, 2016, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
A Funeral Service will be held at New Hope Community Church on Monday, October 17, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Clovis Cemetery.
